Default Adfly is blocked in India

adf.ly is now banned in India, so I was wondering if jdownloader could use proxy to decrypt the links.

Responded on IRC as question was asked there also.

for others that are suffering the same fate

If you are been blocked by the Indian firewall/filter or what ever they are running, you have two choices
try and access these sites via HTTPS or use Proxy/VPN type of software.

HTTPS
the adf.ly plugin will ask you which protocol you want to communicate with for adf.ly.
http (insecure)
https (secure)

it will remember this once saved.

if you have saved the wrong setting you will need to delete jdownloader2/cfg/subconf_adfly.ejs

Proxy/VPN
In JDownloader 2 you can set up multiple proxies.
VPN software is different because it effectively changes your default gateway. You wont need any handling within JD for VPN.

Default adf.ly filter and akafile

Sorry but I have to post a "double" request altogether.
There is a genius out there who suddendly changed the format of the shared links.
1) adf.ly is not recognized by JD.
2) the real download link, akafile, is hidden by the filter.
the **External links are only visible to Support Staff**link

If you can fix it, you are a wizard

I have the same problem using JD2

Also, how do I change the option for adf.ly using secure (https) or unsecure http? Does it make a difference in the decryption?

Maybe you can't change to http to https or viceversa.

@dbboeder

http|https wont make any difference.

It's a once off setting feature, so if you want to change the option you will need to do the following.

close jd
delete jdownloader2/cfg/subconf_adf.ly.ejs
restart jd

Default adf.ly

All of a sudden it seems LinkGrabber will not work with adf.ly

Can you please take a look? Thank you.

Ive been looking for adfly decrypter scripts and sites.

I found this site

(DeAdfly.ly) unlike the others it decrypter still works and very fast. Is there a way it could be incorporated in jdownloader/2 ?

Just for clarification, I may have posted in the wrong section and my thread was somehow combined with this one. I am not having decryption problems with adf.ly.. LinkGrabber simply is not populating when I right click and copy an adf.ly link. LinkGrabber remains empty when I do so. Nothing has changed with my settings. The clipboard monitoring is activated.

Maybe the decryption problem and the LinkGrabber problem are related, I don't know. Just thought I should clarify my issue. Thanks.

Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with adf.ly links which are attached to uploaded.to links. My LinkGrabber won't populate when I copy the link. The clipboard monitoring is turned on. So I downloaded JD2 and tried it in there and it isn't working either. I then went into the plugin settings for uploaded.to within JD2 and activated the 'use secure connection' setting but it still does not work. I am connecting as a free user.

Here is a sample link that won't work - **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Any suggestions for things I might try?
