Nothing to "solve" - is is a requested an not (yet) implemented feature.

For now, we could at least make it download the single images so you could use external software/scripts to make the animation - it's not exactly our job to do this.

Since downloading animations as a .zip was not working, I started poking around and found that the webpage loads a REST api or something which returns a JSON file that contains the actual links to the .zip which contains each frame of animation.

Original link:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

JSON link: (You can directly open the link and see)
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

In the JSON file, there's two fields: src and originalSrc which contain the actual download link for the two versions of the animation. (src is the lower quality version, and originalSrc is the higher quality one)
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

JDownloader seems to be able to download the .zip files if I give it the link from the JSON file.
But it doesn't seem to find the .zip files on the original page with the animation.

I've only tested this on two different animations or so, but it should apply for all animations... I think?

Is this useful for getting JDownloader to download animations again?

Also, if you decide to go for converting the .zip to a .mp4 or .gif, the same JSON file that the REST service returns seems to have the delays for how long each frame in the .zip should be visible for.

Hi, sorry to do this again, but I've only just noticed in one of the latest up dates the artists name was removed from the file name structure. any chance this can be added back in? Its absence makes it a pain to sort out the files when I eventually get the latest from followed artists.

I did not remove anything.
Please post example URL and describe exactly how the current name is and what is missing.

Is there any way to convert the downloaded zip files to mp4 or gif with JD automatically? It downloads the ugoira images as zip files but not as videos.

You're talking about their "animations", right?

It migh be possible using Ffmpeg (no idea) or tools related to image converting.
You can then create an EventScripter script to auto convert the contents of such files to mp4/gif files.
