Default Invalid Download Directory; DL trouble when larger than 4GB

04.10.20 19.24.15 <--> 04.10.20 20.48.05 jdlog://6802325302851/

"Invalid Download Directory"

When attempting to DL any file larger than 4GB, the download session aborts with "Invalid Download Directory" every time. The DL session ends always at exactly 4.00GB and will go no further. The .part file in the destination folder shows it contains 3.99GB.

Many files <4GB DLed without any problems.

The file is being DLed into a folder on the F:\\ drive (a thumbdrive) and not on the root F:\\. This, however, doesn't help.

My system is Windows 10 x64
HP laptop 17-ca0011nr

Installed Physical Memory 8.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 6.96 GB
Available Physical Memory 2.52 GB
Total Virtual Memory 8.21 GB
Available Virtual Memroy 2.49 GB

Any solutions?

do not use FAT32 file system, it has that limit of ~4GB. Change to NTFS

Many thanks for the advice! Converting the thumbdrive from FAT23 to NTFS worked like a charm! Have a beer on me!
