Question What Exactly does Backup all my settings do?

Well

what exactly does backup all my settings do? When i click restore my setting it asks me for some .jd2backup file and i cannot find it.

Does backup all my settings

1. take a backup of all my saved link in downloads.
2. take a backup of all my saved accounts with username and passwords.

Where does it store those files and how do you restore them?

what is this .jd2backup file and where do you find it and how do you take a backup of all saved links, accounts ect ect.

@knewac:
JDownloader backup creates a zip file (.jd2backup is just a zip file) and contains important files (settings, accounts , links...) from the cfg folder of your JDownloader installation, see
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...-configuration
1.) yes
2.) yes

The file is stored where you tell to create the backup file. You can either restore complete via the restore method or manually open/extract/restore single files from the zip file.
In case you need more help, please let us know

Backup , a dialog should open where you can choose where to save the file.
Can you please create a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post logID here

Works now after the latest update. It asks me where to save the backup files.
