Default "Open Download Directory" Cannot Handle "&" In Folder Name

1. In the "LinkGrabber" tab, right-click a file and Properties > Set Download Directory.

Create a directory with an ampersand (&) in the name:

Code:
C:\Test&Example
and download the file.

2. In "Downloads" tab, right-click the file and Open Download Directory.

Get a popup:

Quote:
Windows cannot find 'C:\Test'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
You can use a file manager and see the folder+file exists, so everything works fine besides Open Download Directory.

I don't have a windows machine to test this with currently but ampersand should not be a problem. Please wait for psp or tony to test and confirm

Indeed I was able to reproduce this under Windows 10
Thanks for the report!
Interesting is that, once the file is downloaded, JD will open the directory fine here but when you try to let it open the empty folder when the file does not exist yet, it will fail:

I did a little more testing, and in the "Downloads" tab, it looks like it only affects the packages.

Here is a sample image:

JDownloader.Ampersand.Broken.png

1. If you right-click the package > "Open Download Directory", you get the broken warning & popup.

2. If you right-click on the file > "Open Download Directory", it successfully opens the & folder.

I'm unable to reproduce this problem atm so I've closed the ticket.
