Question Some of the latest JD-Updates doesn't work

If I try to update JD2, I get this error actually:

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
at org.appwork.updatesys.client.defaultimpl.http.HttpBackend.<init>(HttpBackend.java:17)
at org.jdownloader.update.UpdateManager$2$1$1.<init>(UpdateManager.java:213)
at org.jdownloader.update.UpdateManager$2$1.createHTTPBackend(UpdateManager.java:213)
at org.appwork.updatesys.client.defaultimpl.http.HttpClientImpl.get(HttpClientImpl.java:245)
at org.appwork.updatesys.client.defaultimpl.http.HttpClientImpl.get(HttpClientImpl.java:237)
at org.appwork.updatesys.client.UpdateClient.get(UpdateClient.java:1115)

Is this a local problem or something on your side?

ich habe nach dem Update vorhin folgendes Problem / Meldung:

Restart JDownloader, wait about 2 minutes, then JDownloader will show available update to install

I've the auto update scrit installed and Jdown doesn't stop restarting. How can i do ?

Can you try to disable the eventscripter? if that doesnt work, simply remove the Eventscripter jar from extensions folder and then start JDownloader

Done and replaced the eventscripter jar in the folder after. 2 restarts and i seems ok. Thank you for help lord.

It works. Thank you, Jiaz.

(After the JD2 restart, you have to WAIT and don't click and try to force anything. After about 2 minutes JD2 presents the update message box automatically...)
