Default Hotfile Fatal Error

Trying to download with JDownloader and Hotfile files are giving a fatal error, yet there is no problem with other hosts or if I try to download the file from Hotfile with my browser.

What do you mean? Does Java crash? Do you get an error from the host?

What about some example links and a complete and detailed log?

I choose to download the file and it tries a couple of times and then says fatal error and moves on to the next one.

I have tried other download managers, browsers etc and no problem.

What example links? It isn't about the links, it is about the fact that JDownloader will not start the download but everything else will.

Please tell me what you are looking for specifically?

@filegeek
I think you just didn't type in the captcha.
After typing it in wrong for more than 5 times a fatal error will occur.

Tried JD for the first time today and had the error people have described here with hotfile.

Hotfile links start -> retry a few times -> fatal error.

Anyway, restarting my router seemed to fix it, so just reccomending trying it.

Default Fatal error on hotfile

Edit: Posting http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=19745 as it seems to be only related to hotfile

It has literally just occurred for me but my account is active and works fine through the browser but for some odd reason its not working by jdownloader.

I have changed no settings so nothing has changed apart from me turning it on and off. I have also tried several links - all the time.

Wait 5s - 1s then fatal error.

the current problem with hotfile began AFTER i allowed jdownloader to update to the current rev , it had grabbed and was processing 4 files in the rar sequence upto that point

the file chosen does not matter, it happens with any and all selected valid hotfile url's with a current latest jdownloader update.

"19 8/10/10 8:38:45 PM - WARNING [java_downloader] -> The Plugin for hotfile.com seems to be out of date(rev12222). Please inform the Support-team http://jdownloader.org/support.

it only happen if you are using and activate the premium globally option, deselect that and use single file at a time and you can use it fine but OC slow

"------------------------ Thread: 88 -----------------------

88 8/10/10 9:46:18 PM - FINER [java_downloader] -> Wait for chunks"

to repeat, it seems the premium account use was working perfectly fine today upto and until the latest update was allowed to download,install and restart jdownloader, it resumed the already started 4 threads then hit the reported "plugin error (out of date)" when it tried to start a new thread.... disabling the active premium account globally allows you to work one part rar at a time so it appears this current rev12222 screwed up something relating to ONLY premium account globally parsing.

opening a or indeed several browser url directly from jdownloader works fine also so theres clearly a problem created by the latest jdownloader update files and hotfile

Default hotfile fatal error problem

Although the update did happen today I am fairly sure my problem occurred before this and started happening around 2pm BST today

It only seems to occur with hotfile files. I have tried rapidshare files just to see if jdownloader was having a problem.

As the browser works for download I have to assume it is some inner relating of jdownloader causing the problem.

Code:

I have just begun to experience problems with HF too. After waiting through the countdown and entering the Captcha, I get this in the 'Status' column: Host offline? Wait 09m:45s. Once the countdown has completed, the same error occurs.

Can ne1 help with a fix for this?

Thanks.

Default Hotfile invalid account issue

JDownloader is showing "invalid account" next to my Hotfile account. The account is valid until July 2011. I've tried removing the account from JDownloader and re-adding it, and I've also tried removing it, then changing the username/password on Hotfile's site, then re-adding it, but it always gives the invalid account error. It worked fine for several months, and I noticed this error started today. Thanks in advance for any help.

Default Hotfile: Premium not working, Free working!

Hi,

I have the latest version of JDownloader and the latest version of Java

JD was working perfectly with Hotfile until the last update, now I get a file status of 'online' ok, but when I try to download I get the 'wait 2 seconds, retry' several times followed by the 'fatal error' message

This is ONLY when 'Use Premium Globally' is checked. When I try to download with this switched off, I get the 60 second countdown then the file downloads ok (just a lot slower)

Anyone any ideas?

Same problem here! With HOTFILE only. Netload works.

NOTE: IF YOU TURN OFF "PREMIUM" AND DOWNLOAD AS "FREE USER" it works :(

I don't understand??? Why should a free account work and not premium? is this a hotfile setting on their end that causes this?

Cool

What about a complete and detailed log?

There are several threads on the subject now. See also "International Hotfile problems thread".

Please, wait until the devs wake up.

Whenever you try to download hotfile links with premium it is now coming up with a countdown from 10 minutes...any ideas? but at least the file sizes are now showing correctly.

To be honest I have yet to find anything as good as JD but with the current hotfile problems I need to find an alternative until the hotfile problem is fixed.

Im not leeching a thread which was months old then reopened up by someone.

Moderator Edit: The rule is to use the existing thread. The staff will see it. Opening a new thread messes up the Forum and makes things harder to find.

Admin/Tech,

It's not possible to check what was changed during the update 2 Aug? Or can't you go back to that version for the time being?

Just used JDownloader again. Or shall I say, tried to use it.

Rapidshare seems to be working, but keep disconnected and very slow.
Fatal error on hotfile.
