@JPeterson
They would have costs, server costs, administration costs, coding costs. They can keep the costs down by not having to employ any of there own solving staff, and let the free users do that? Maybe they have some sweet shop somewhere full of solvers who knows?

@therock003
the captchas do not timeout in short periods, once a jac method has been triggered you would have a few mintues if not longer. I tested this the other day I kept captcha window open in JD for 30minutes (I was in debug so the timer wasn't really active)... With manual solving captchas within JD we have options that allows you to adjust settings, but those are more orientated around dialog display times/size etc

Do you remember which host it was that allowed an expiration period of 30 minutes?

nope sorry been bug testing + coding heaps of plugin changes of the last few days. They kinda just merge into one another..

If its basic recaptcha implementation, it will use all recaptcha/google default settings (one of these would be TTL = time to live). Generally it's a long enough period to allow for 'normal use', as it needs to provide users with the ability to read websites content like a forum and then to post a reply they need time to write a response etc.. No point for every person under that situation to have solve two captchas because some ttl value is short..

Cool

That sounds good but I've been registering/commenting on several sites where the captcha expired before I had the time to fill in the required fields.

Ah, I must have mixed this up with the other thread.

I'm still not sure why admin left my post after thinking it was advert spam but just took the dollar figure out o_O I guess I should be happy for not getting a warning(though I wasn't advertising). But it's still weird

Something terrible happened last night.

I had 1174 credits and then I started seeing server reconnect failed over and over and over again. I left it running, then find out a few minutes later that my account has been locked for to many inaccurate catchas. I am over 90% accurate. I filed a dispute and sent an email to the developer. I will be contacting them on twitter also. Does anyone know how long it takes for your account to be unlocked?

Great service BTW.

@kevev

Never had that issue, so nope. From my previous communications, they have always responded to my emails promptly.

Well, I am still waiting. I will create a new account and start to accumulate credits there. Hopefully they will fix me soon. I had lots of credits.

Default VB.NET Captcha Trader

Does anyone have any tutorials on how to use the Captcha Trader API in VB.NET?

I sure as hell can't figure it out.

Second time I have been locked out because of a server timeout issue! I still have not received a response back on my first dispute. I will be shifting to another service. Thank You and I hope the bugs get worked out.

It's probably safer not to accumulate too much credits. The credit systems of these mutual captcha solutions aren't like the communist, monopolised debt based currency you use to buy shoes. It's sufficient to have enough credits to cover the periods that you aren't on-line.

Maybe it would be better if there's not timeout for captcha in JD. Captchatrader has not timeout built in so when jd submits a request it (may) respond in any time. So if the hoster has a long timeout (over 30seconds) this solution avoids a waste of a resolution because of jd's timeout. If the captcha has expired it would load a new one in any case.

Captcha timeout in jd may remain but instead of reloading a new one the countdown would continue to negatives (red color for better see it) in order to alert human resolvers that the current captcha may be expired.

Please, contact the developers of this program. jD can't be held responsible for programs it didn't develop.

The C.T. team changed the API. The first change I found is the 20 seconds restriction for solving a captcha!
I will try to change the jCatGUI according to new API in the near future.

Selam, üyeliğimin durdurulduğu yazıyor 400 kredim boşamı gitti şimdi

Your account has been disabled. (Reason: Accuracy too low) If you feel that this is an error, create an appeal.
