handle very many links and use internet explorer? when using internet explorer, something was wrong, it was as if JD and internet hooked ...

operating system then all collapsed, right click did not work, the task manager did not show up, cpu usage was going to heaven ....

the only solution at the time was to close one of the two programs and sometimes just restarting it solved ...

Java caching has something to do with this? by emptying it often helps me busy sometimes in JD2 ...

that program is NeoDownloader?? eset service is an antivirus?

ReXTaR -
1. NeoDownloader, Internet Explorer does not affect the operation of the JD. Can be disabled NOTsolving the problems with memory space.
2. Analyzing some websites turned off (the list excluded from scanning)-ESET.

3. Work developers on the structure of the program or (optimizing?) or in the Task Manager, I do not see that JD took large memory resources (100 + MB)-formerly ago (1 GB-2 GB)

4. Now they are hidden deposits of garbage, "memory leaks" and high CPU load when downloading files.

5. -Xmx can not increase indefinitely memory, given that runs out of memory for other applications and SYSTEM.
It is recommended that a maximum of -Xmx2048MB (8096 MB RAM)

6. This task requires a high challenge. I won't be able to do this:

Code:
I can use Eclipse Memory Analyzer to examine your heap dump or you can use any profiler like Netbeans or JProbe. This is tough solution and requires some time to analyze and find memory leaks .

2119 LINKS = lack memory / Insufficient memory??? (when downloading files)

Code:
# Enter one VM parameter per line
# For example, to adjust the maximum memory usage to 512 MB, uncomment the following line:
# java -Xmx512m -jar JDownloader.jar
# To include another file, uncomment the following line:
# -include-options [path to other .vmoption file]
-Xmx2048M

Quit making new threads, last time I ask djmakinera.

Is this a bash/bat script ?
you most likely need to have
java -Xmx2048M -jar JDownloader.jar
(as mentioned before, without the # character)

Problem solved:
With the help of raztoki. Better Tutoral - (PARAMETERS). Thank you.
Please note that there not may be a process in Task Manager "JDownloader2.exe"
It must be a process javaw.exe (Task Manager).
It should be noted also the situations where JD2 then
Code:
Restarts
instead of javaw.exe process is again JDownloader2.exe
In this case, you should be fix the same PARAMETERS when Restart JDownloader

TEST:
60000+ LINKS = NO ERORRS

Runs stable (less CPU power consumption)
Previously, 70%
Now 10-15%
Now shows more real RAM usage

It works smoothly /
lightly (eg smooth scrolling list, even if a very large list)

+++ Now you can quickly stop downloading and close the application!!!

JDownloader 2.exe is a wrapper for running java(w).exe (converting full command line for calling JVM --> executable file).
If you started JD via JDownloader 2.exe then process will be JDownloader 2.exe (which starts JVM with default parameters: -Xmx512 and -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false etc)
If you start it via full command to java executable (i.e. java -jar -Xmx1024 jdownloader.jar) then the process java(w).exe will be visible.

If you want to send modified parameters to JVM via JDownloader 2.exe then modify JDownloader 2.vmoptions file.
(visibkle in post #47)

Restarting JD2 always calls JDownloader 2.exe, so when you start JD2 from command line and you send specified parameters to JVM executable then you'll have to include the same parameters into JDownloader 2.vmoptions, because without it JVM will start with default parameters.

There shouldn't be any differences in the memory/CPU usage when calling directly JVM or JVM via JDownloader 2.exe - but only if the parameters for starting JVM are the same.

Most users will use wrapper for starting JD2.
