The Point of MyJDownloader
Hello
I don't mean this to come out the wrong way, but as I am quite new to this awesome program and as I didn't find a clear answer for me, I wanted to ask, what is the point of MyJDownloader? I mean, what exactly does it do, being logged in to it instead of using it (jdownloader2) not being logged in to it? Are there any benefits? Any drawbacks? My use case for jdownloader2 is primarily directly on my windows computer and for making sure that the downloads do not fail for which so far jdownloader2 has done an awesome job. Some sites need user:password and that has worked without problems for me as well. What I would like though, if that is the benefit to myjdownloader is, if it can easier bypass captchas like ddos-guard, which I have had some problems with and if I can transfer/save settings, so it will be easier for me to continue using jdownloader2 instead of setting it up again. Is that something that myjdownloader helps with or is that something completely different? Thank you in advance for your help. |

my.jd (login user:pass) and the api (connectivity/authentication/communication) backend powers the webui/browser extensions and device support (android/ios), you can control/view your existing installations remotely.

@Melisa: To be honest, the question heavily feels like getting trolled.
Visiting https://my.jdownloader.org and it will show you what is all about. The MyJDownloader tab within JDownloader also explains what it is and has a button for the website. A short 5 secs web search would have explained what MyJDownloader is.
