But it doesn't:

I have a valid account and can DL directly or with Flashget.
With JD I can only DL as a free account.

reduce the chunk settings (max con per file, bottom right hand corner of jd gui), make sure your firewall / antivirus software isnt' interfering with JD. make sure you have the appropriate exemptions for java.exe javaw.exe and jdownloader.exe

Please always provide a logfile with your issue so we can read it.

please send username/password and example link to support at jdownloader.org
seems
1.) something not right with account
or
2.) firewall/av/isp messes with your connection
try setting max connection to 1 (rightclick reset on the link after that)

your firefox does not use chunks. ituses 1 connection to download
thats why i told you to set max connection to 1 and try again

Did you change Max.Con to 1, reset the link(s) and try again?

Thumbs down Fileserve can put a dick in their mouth

Like a few others in this thread, I'm seeing the "can't login via API, but you can on the site" message from JDownloader. When I try downloading files via a browser, I receive a message that states I can only download/upload my own files... Everything was working fine up until April 1st - at first I thought it was a joke, but now I'm absolutely likeing livid.

I filed a dispute with Paypal a week ago, but Fileserve told me they couldn't fix the issue while I had a dispute open. So I closed the dispute. Then Fileserve goes complete likeing silent ... NOT A PEEP. And I just learned that once you close a dispute, that's it. Nothing more.... Nothing else... NADA... I'm likeed out of the $10. (only now watch them try to keep that payment recurring... I'll find their offices and ... well ... you'll see)

So BEWARE OF FILESERVE. BEWARE OF PAYPAL. The combination of those two? Absolutely likeing criminal.
