Default Ryushare: says file is offline (but it's not)

Recently, ryushare links are shown as being offline. And if you open the link with a browser, it will say the file is offline. BUT, if you login to Ryushare first from the browser, the file will be accessible.

In jdownloader, even with a valid premium ryushare account, the links will still show as offline. Perhaps the link checker doesn't login first?

1.Your log does not contain any ryushare download attempts/linkchecks.
2.Works fine for me (checked free mode download) - cannot reproduce your problem!

Try this log:
27.10.14 10.28.04to27.10.14 10.29.04 jdlog://7904473693141/

I wonder if ryushare's behavior is US-ip specific.

Update: using AnonymoX on Firefox, a US-ip will show the file as being offline while a UK-ip will show it available. Again, if I first login to Ryushare, then the file is immediately downloadable from a US-ip.

Please add the html code of the offline page.
Also, if you check your links via this form, does it work?
ryushare.com/checkfiles.python

From ryushare.com/checkfiles.python, the test links show as 'found' without needing to be logged in.

Can confirm. It seems that RyuShare is blocking only JDownloader (or any other manager) from "seeing" the files, even if you've put a premium account on it. Going through the website and checking the link (logged in, that is.), they're perfectly online and downloadable.

And no, not US-only. This is also happening with FR IP addresses.

@badbob001
@OzakakiLeir
Is it happening on the first file or after some time? As I can't reproduce here, maybe they don't block my country. If they allow some files and not others, if you have full logs so I can check a complete session vs one download.

@OzakakiLeir
I used your login and tested link before adding account, added account (found as premium), download file aok.

@raztoki,

All ryushare links are shown as being offline in jdownloader, no matter how many times I add them. I've tried the 'check online status' on the same links a few times and they still always return back as offline.

I'm not sure why a login from the browser resolves this issue but not a login from jdownloader. Perhaps the browser accepts a cookie that the plug-in doesn't? Or maybe ryushare is doing something to specifically identify and block downloaders?

I've only used a browser-based proxy to spoof my ip to another country, but I guess to test the same with jdownloader you would need a whole-system vpn/proxy.

Is there a way to have jdownloader IGNORE the status of the file and try the download anyway? It's possible it'll work. The php-based checked mentioned before does show the files as being online, so could we use that method instead in the plug-in?

Please tell us where we can find a proxy we can use to reproduce this behavior!

Sometime in the past month, ryushare links have started to be marked as offline by LinkGrabber. The links download in firefox 33.0.02.

I am using a premium ryushare account on an up-to-date version of JD Beta. The error still occurs when the premium account is disabled.

The following links are marked as spoilers, because they include pictures of naked women.

I don't think it has todo with download manager myself.

I added a american proxy (think it was on amazon aws subnet) to JDownloader and opera, with whitelist to ryushare only. The outcome behaves exact same manner in JD as in browser offline.

Since linkchecking typically happens without login. I can change that easy enough if you that linkcheck works with login. Thing is I created user:pass using the proxy and tried to login, it refuses and gives me keycaptcha! login in using the same user:pass without proxy works fine. Id say they are not letting you login with American IP either.

conclusion: they block based on IP subnet more so than user-agent or any other identifier. If you can show me otherwise via Teamviewer I'd greatly appreciate.

You are right. JD B2 linkgrabber works with an ruyshare link if I set a proxy for Germany or Columbia. However, I have still not been able to download. This is probably a problem with the proxy.

One problem is that many proxies use HTTPS and port 8080, not HTTP and JD does not have an option under proxies to force HTTPS.

@drbits
Yep doesn't have a force HTTPS mode. If I'm recalling correctly, you can not run HTTPS and HTTP on the same port. So it can only ever be one or the other. The HTTP setting supports both in the connection manager. I'll bring this up with Appwork Wednesday, and make sure I'm on the right track.

How does the ryushare plug-in currently check the status of links?

When checking links from ryushare.com/checkfiles.python, the links are FOUND and do NOT require a login into ryushare and no proxy required. The plug-in should use the above link to check for file status, which should work for both registered and non-registered ryushare users.

What's the problem - can't we reproduce the described behavior via proxy??

@badbob001
added code to use checklinks, this will aid those that use multihoster accounts. If you're still been blocked in download link webpage, you wont be able to download.

A recent update has fixed this and I am able to download from Ryushare again. Thanks!

Notable change is that checking the links now takes much longer (maybe 20-30 seconds per link) and despite my download settings, only one download occurs at a time for ryushare links (even Force Download Start is ignored).

If needed, here are my logs: 07.11.14 11.24.59to08.11.14 12.58.41 jdlog://0902755715141/

yes it will take longer because instead of one request it's doing three. Also depends on your latency with hoster.

download slot opens up, just no more than one seems to start. Make sure that you don't have more than 1 max siml per host setting enabled.

I don't understand why with ryushare the number of simultaneous downloads is now limited to one. From the browser, I've had up to six simultaneous downloads from them.

Oh well, my account is being used inappropriately, and the only place I have put my login info is here, so... What gives?
