Yup still having trouble, but I find if I wait a time before retrying trouble link it eventually adds it.

Is there a log activity tab accessible anymore like with the original jdownloadr? Would be nice to see what the program is doing without creating a log file.

psp, specific links don't seem to matter much. For example, this behavior was happening with this playlist to me:

However, after trying it few times, I managed to add them to the downloads.

The behavior is random.

However, I can play videos through a browser just fine. Is YT doing something through their website that's blocking jD specifically? Maybe jD could pick random user agent strings? Or maybe not do something that allows YT to detect that jD is the agent making connections? I don't know what they're doing but it's pervasive. I'm getting these "BasicAuth" errors all the time.

Was muss ich genau machen, um es dir zeigen zu können? Irgendwie scheint JD den Proxy nicht mehr zu ''erkennen''. Weil früher war es so, wenn ich mein Proxy in JD ausgeschaltet habe, dann stand wie jetzt offline file. Aber wenn ich es angeschaltet habe, hat er normal alles von YT gegrabbt.

JDownloader 2 fails to download youtube link (offline or not grabbed.)
I can download with IDM or with chromium browser extensions(SaveTube,Ultimate YouTube Downloader,YouTube Options (Full Version),some userscripts)

also 1080p videos not grabbed (only best available in JD:720p),480p flv and/or 480p mp4 not grabbed. please fix

I found out that it can grab the same link without asking for username & pass but after I did the following :
Tried to grab the links 1st time and he asked for username & pass then I clicked cancel then removed all the offline links & closed JD and reopened it and added the same link manually and it worked this time as JD grabbed the video without any problems …
But JD still asking me for user name & pass on videos that I try to download for 1st time and to download them I've to do the whole previous procedure to every single video !!

BTW it's not grabbing 1080p resolution anymore for all youtube videos !

Kann ich bestätigen, hatte den JDownloader geupdatet und seit dem geht nichts mehr von YT in den Linkgrabber....

Weder Videos noch Sachen die in MP3 konvertiert werden sollen.

Das Problem ist gelöst.

Nachdem ich einige Updates gefahren habe, hat mir das Programm diese lustige Fehlermeldung vor die Füße geworfen:



Da dachte ich mir: Neuinstallation, das habe ich noch nicht versucht. Also das Programm komplett runtergeschmissen und die neueste Version von eurer Seite gezogen. Nach der Installation war das Grabben von YouTube-Videos wieder wie gewohnt möglich. Bis auf die 1080p-Links, die glänzen weiterhin durch Abwesenheit

This is simply wrong.
We haven't changed the yt plugin recently.
Youtube changed itself.
They're now using the new "DASH" playback for 480p and 1080p qualities.
JDownloader cannot handle this yet.

I'm having a problem with youtube as well.

The Linkgrabber just fails to grab anything from youtube links

It was getting worse over the last couple of days where I would have to add the link several times and at one point it would stick, but today it just stopped working completely, at 3pm it still worked today even...

these videos are all not loading into the linkgrabber at all and the log shows nothing, it just shows x modules running, decrypt-youtube.com: /watch and then it disappears and nothing shows up in the link list

this is a different issue as with vevo too, as keepvid still works for at least one of them (I only tested the one)

I've got JD2 set to look for MP4 at the highest res it can find. I haven't specified any resolution.

But I still have the problem that it can't grab ANY links at all.
