@rauldj: maybe back in nov last year, but all I can tell and repeat again and again.
There have been no changes to JDownloader, video is only available as webm in 4k, you can easily check this yourself with any other tool, youtube-dl, you-get and many others.
Here is list of all known formats, wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=YouTube&oldid=800910021#Quality_and_formats
you can easily check source yourself if you don't believe me nor other tools

Default I've been seeing the 48kbit/s aac option recently go missing.

I've been seeing the 48kbit/s aac option recently go missing.

example link
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

"add additional variants" only lists 96/128/192kbit/s
usually 96 is fake as its the same size as a larger size.

Yes I added "worst audio" in variant collections, it worked for many months before this.

48 kbit is useful for podcast type material to save bandwidth and space

can confirm with youtube-dl that downloading that audio type is possible with this command
youtube-dl -f worstaudio -o %(uploader)s.%(title)s.%(format)s.%(acodec)s.%(abr)s.%(id)s.f%(format_id)s.%(duration)s.%(release_da te)s.youtube.%(ext)s **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I've checked with "youtube-dl -F url" and could not find 48kbit aac track?!
The command line above returns 64kbit/s opus and not aac.
ffprobe file
Duration: 00:08:29.04, start: 0.007000, bitrate: 51 kb/s
Stream #0:0(eng): Audio: opus, 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp (default)

For the last one year, the link grabber cannot successfully catch all Youtube links. I am following several Youtube channel by using the RSS feed software called "QuiteRSS". I copy the newly published Youtube links to clipboard one by one and let the link grabber to catch them.

I am experiencing this issue for a very long time, so I'm quite sure that it is not a my mistake on my side, for example like not being able to copy the link to the clipboard. The link is just there in the clipboard and the link grabber does nothing.

This issue shows itself in two different ways.
1) Link grabber can't grab the link, I clear the clipboard or copy something else in it, then copy the link again, link grabber catches the link at this second time. This happens 99% of the time when link grabber fails.
2) Link grabber refuses to catch a link. It just doesn't catch it even if you tray again and again. This happens 1% of the time. (**External links are only visible to Support Staff**Example)

The feed that shares the most videos every day is **External links are only visible to Support Staff**this one. It shares up to 20 videos everyday. I copy the links one by one to the clipboard. Every links stays in the clip board for 3 seconds or more. Statistically speaking, it misses 1 video in every 15 video links I copy to the clipboard.

This issue suddenly started after a JDownload update one year ago. At first I didn't pay attention to it and I believed that it would be solve in the following updates. So, I don't remember the exact date it first started. Later, this so annoying! Think that, everyday there is one missing video and you check all the links to see which one is missing.

Please solve this issue.

JDownloader Versions:
Core: 38642
Launcher: 4209
AppWork Utilities: 3027
Browser: 38541
Updater: 638

Something is wrong.

When I add new videos to link grabber, if I add 10 videos only 3 show up on the list, the other 7 videos doesn't even say offline/unavailable and the link grabber has stopped running already, it's acting like I never added those to the link grabber. On average only about 30% of videos show up.

And almost all the existing videos that were added to the download list can't download, it gives either a File Not Found status or Account Is Missing error.

Download speed for YT videos is throttled significantly in JD2. I've been experiencing this for at least a few months.

JDownloader does not throttle speed at all. It downloads as fast as possible. Solution is easy (use board search). Settings-Advanced Settings, search for bypass

I forgot to add that I enabled that option. It doesn't change anything.

@Inspectah: I'm sorry but I've just tested your example link and both (JD and youtube-dl) download with same speed. JD uses exact same ratebypass as youtube-dl. I did this test with 3 different ISP.
YT limits bandwidth to video bandwidth and it seems ratebypass no longer works
You can compare real speed with windows task manager and check speed graph

Odd. I have no idea what's causing this. By the way, it's doing the 50 kB/s thing again.

@Inspectah: Dash seperates video and audio stream. YT limits bandwidth to actual stream bandwidth and that's why the end of the download (audio stream) is slower than the first part of the download(video stream). It looks like the ratebypass no longer works
