I posted this in Youtube Plugin Support thread here https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=48894 two days ago and just realized that was for older JDownloader version. Posting it here now, please feel free to delete/merge if this is in the wrong section.

I just started having an issue with login into Youtube. It shows the error message "Cannot add the account because premium account".

The account I am using for Youtube was never premium and it was working ok until a day or two ago when I downloaded last time from Youtube. But now suddenly out of nowhere it's giving me this error.

Note:- My Youtube account was already saved but started showing login error so I removed the account and tried to enter the details again in case if it would work but now it doesn't even save the account and shows the error in attached screenshot.

YouTube account support is officially broken at this moment and there will be no fix available in the near future!

I'am unable to reproduce your issue.

You should reset your YT plugin config to make sure that it does not cause any issues.
See the yellow arrow on the top right nearby "Please chose a plugin"

@ pspzockerscene I found that it was the AOMedia Video 1 that was causing the double and the red ones so i disabled that one for now in the youtube plugin settings ... but this still is not fixing some things where i need to restart JD now and then to get links to add for youtube or for actually downloading them now and then .. and yea there is still something wierd on occasion with some not completing and properly converting and for now when I find such I will use another app to gab those which is a pain (but the end video is converted and usable without any issues, but o well for now I can wait for a proper fix hopefully in JD as it happens on both the 10.6.8 and 10.10.5 OSes I am using atm) one way or another hopefully

Thanks for update. Just a quick follow up question. Is there a way to download videos marked as "age restricted"? I can still download most of the videos with JDownloader without youtube account but it shows an error "Error [video ID] - Sing in to confirm your age" for videos that are marked for Mature Audience or some other age restriction. Is there any way to bypass this or we are out of luck with that for now?

I can watch it in browser or app without any problem but JDownloader won't download this.

Is this the right forum for problems with the Account Manager?

When I try to add my free YouTube account in the Account Manager (to prevent the "sign in to confirm your age" status in the download list), I get the funny error message "Cannot add Account because Premium Account".

Same problem here like XtremeMac.

For me, every YouTube link I try to get show this error for almost 10 days. Yesterday update didn't solve a problem. I have never tried to log into YT account since everything always worked without it perfectly. I have already tried to reinstall Jdownloader 2, problem persists...

Anyone?

How can i get jdownloader to reinstall ffmeg?

It keeps saying "You already have the latest verion"

And there is no ffmeg folder in cfg/tools/etc

Since about a week, JD appears to be unable to grab SOME videos in higher resolution than 360p, although they are available up to 1080p on YouTube.

The issue appears to be confined to recently uploaded videos. Having installed a number of JD updates in the past week, I went back and tried to re-download them again. Now some could be downloaded in 1080p, but others could still only be downloaded in 360p. I have also checked with some stream ripper sites and they are experiencing the same problem with these links, which leads me to think that YT have changed something (not a JD bug so to say).

Here are two examples:

hmm not having that issue here re missing qualities, but still having the issues of having to restart JD between grabs and dls for youtube ...

I tried to create a log file but am getting errors lately when trying to do so not sure why though but was able to get a few log files to post even though it showed errors such as 25.02.20 10.48.24 <--> 24.02.20 22.29.28 jdlog://6460715302851/

Yes there were a ton of files I think around 99 packages I was testing with yea I got carried away too ...

I have attached a few pics and one of the error logs when trying to make the log to send also. Something is odd and I have not figured out what the issue is other than something in JD maybe is not working properly lately at least with youtube and grabbing files all at once or downloading them also .

oh one of the links I was trying to grab was from **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** and it showed supposedly 175 links in that playlist group but of course only around 10 were grabbed before i had to restart jd again and again and also I had to let them switch through the browser when I recopied and pasted or when i had to tell JD to disable and re-neable the clipboard grabs.

NP I can wait and can always use another method to dl them if really needed. just bothers me more atm that when trying to create a log it is giving the errors also and not completing properly or saying oops too big for whatever reason. but as I said also I had some 99+ packages and that may have choked your ends ul status or something built into the app .. I also tried to zip and rar up the screen shots I had which is a ton more through through that testing cycle, but both were too large to upload to you all through here so o well. I know I have never had to upload anything that big ... around 2.4 MB of screen shots .. smh lol

Just hope you all can figure out appropriate fixes etc least for my OS's atm as I am not updating to the newer OS's due to RL issues too such as oh I need a new machine now, etc. because everyone is updating theirs.

I was trying to download some youtube videos, and needed to install ffmeg to continue, I did that. But now when I try download a video it separates audio and video into two different files. How do I download it as one file with both video and audio? The video is unlisted instead of public if that makes a difference
