it's still not possible for me to add youtube account on jd
i follow the instructions about adding the correct password but still i get an error (the account is added as premium, but it keeps stalling on "unknown error"

is it a known issue or do you need a log?

i've already done that in the first place, cause JD pops up that method after the "normal" login with my standard login with username\pw.
the error i've listed before is the one that keeps repeating after i've used the cookie method.

Can you please create a debug log. Enable Settings->Advanced Settings->Log.debugmodeenabled and restart JDownloader
Wait for issue to happen and then create log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post logId here

when I add this video **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** to jdownloader and then try to add more variants for it, jdownloader shows two video for setting I have set for 1080. one it h264 and one in vp9. and it also shows one video for 1920 which is in av1 format.
but all three videos have the same dimensions (resolutions) which is 1920x808.
I have encountered more of this videos but this is the one I remember right now.
this issue doesnt seem to happen with 720 version.
I have downloaded the 3 videos to be sure and they have the same resolution.

why jdownloader shows av1 in 1920 but h264 and vp9 in 1080.
my guess is somehow av1 is checked with its horizontal dimension and the other two are grouped based on vertical.
but then I checked with this video **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** and it has standard 720 and 1080 dimensions but still av1 is placed in 1920 and the other two in 1080 even though all three have the same dimensions as 1920x1080.

is there anyone to add non-auto-generated subtitle to list of link that are added when adding a youtube link ?
right now if I add subtitle in youtube plugin it always gets a subtitle even when the subtitle is autogenerated.
I want to get the subtitle only when the CC (closed caption) is used.
youtube shows those link in youtube with a cc icon under the video link page.


also if the first part is possible is it also possible to add the subtitle to the video file container (like in mkv?)

PS: It's a regular YT video. I can download other YT videos. When I try to add the link to JDownloader the window turns red and tells me it's found an offline file, although the file isn't offline.

First link has VP9, H264 and AV1 are listed with 1920x808, 1280x538...
where does it show 1080 for you? screenshot?

so you just want *real* subtitles and not the auto generated ones?

Meanwhile you can use Eventscripter, see https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525 and use script
to embed subtitle after download. you might wanna ask our script master mgpai for help/hints

Have my youtube.com correctly set up in the Account Manager. Fully functional for most YouTube URLs. This link comes up short: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The LinkCollector only sees the .jpg, .txt, and .srt files, but not the actual movie itself. Tried multiple things before posting, but no clue what to do next.
