reduce simultaneuos downloads as long as Max Bandwidth is reached.
I share cable so I'm allowed to use only 750KB/s of Bandwidth. I usually download 5GB movies. Sometimes the host sites are slow like 150KB/s so I set my JD to 6 files simultaneous and 2 threads per file. This keeps me downloading at 750KB/s. However, if the next hosts are fast, I'm still downloading 6 movies at the same time with each movie only downloading at 150KB/S. That is going to take a long time. I have to manually set it to 1 download simultaneous so that all 750KB/s goes to one file at a time. This way I get a complete file to watch while the next one is downloading.
It wold be a great update if JD automatically reduced the number of simultaneous downloads when the servers are fast and increase the number of simu downloads when the servers are slow. Even better would be a smart system that test all listed resume-able download for speed then divides the bandwidth(BW) among the files by user defined choices like 65%BW to fast files and 35%BW to slow files.
