Default Different folder for each link

Hi,

I'm trying to make it so that the contents of each link is in its own folder when adding multiple links at the same time

For instance, say we have 3 links:

link.com/123
link.com/456
link.com/789

The name of each folder could be the URL, or the jd simpledate, or something else. So the downloads folder may look like:

Downloads/link-123/*ALL FILES FROM URL 1*
Downloads/link-456/*ALL FILES FROM URL 2*
Downloads/link-789/*ALL FILES FROM URL 3*

i'm trying to completely separate the files from each link

possible with
settings > package customiser > create a rule (wildcard or regex) based on the url or date. (right click for dynamic tags)
or adding links with
folder watch/crawler jobs, user defined package name
api a user defined package name
link crawler rule, define package name based on html within page or url
dedicated decrypter plugin, either defined on html or what ever you'd like

I have no idea what this means. why is this simple task so complicated?

good morning hell0

sorry to say package customiser can do what you ask. please research package customiser (forum search) and if you still have problems, ask further questions and explain the parts which you do not understand.

in respects to the second part, its much like the first, those are additional ways to achieve the same outcome. Yes more involved!, As you have little to no experience with those functions/features it will require learning (this doesn't necessarily make it complicated). Please use forum search or google 'function name site:board.jdownloader.org' in order to find information
