I also encounter the same issue.

I don't know why does it happen, since resetting the file (right click on it and reset) fixes the problem sometimes.

If you need more info, just reply here.

BTW, great program! I really love it!

its 100% another software on your computer or wrong setup of your firewall/virusscanner
E O F: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream tells me that something just closes the ongoiing connection!

I am running Linux, so I can't install teamviewer

I don't have firewall (also on my router) and I don't run any virus scanner...

I have tried JDownloader on a fresh install of Ubuntu Jaunty with latest Java and JDownloader, and it throws the same error message.

If you want to get access to my computer, I think that through VNC it is possible...

No. I thought that sun's java is the supported one.

I will try it and report.

the problem started after either the latest update java 6 update 13 or the latest jdownloader 0.4.936 update, there was no change in firewall/antivirus for at least a year. I do not see any other problem browsing or downloading files with software other than jdownloader.

also, the problem is random, if I reset the problem file it sometimes succeeds sometimes error again.

that's interesting, I am running Windows XP with latest JRE so the problem is not OS-specific or Java implementation specific.

I download several files from RS by JD nearly every day. With and without premium-account. I never got this problem or a similar one. In my eyes your prob is not inducted by JD.

So I think you should search for general network (or carrier) problems ...

I see no problems when using Internet Explorer, eMule, uTorrent...

is it possible to revert to the previous version of jdownloader?

is it possible to obtain more in-depth diagnostics (more "E O F: Unexpected end of ZLIB input strea") of the problem by some flag or setting?

since the problem seems random can I make jdownloader retry the connection several times before giving up?

What user-agent Header does JDownloader sends?

Maybe to ISP is blocking JDownloader, since in Firefox it works just fine.

Jiaz: sagy, ofir and myself found out we use the same ISP so it is surely the source of the problem.

Will changeset 5594 **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
solve the problem that Ofir wrote about?

rs does not block the useragent

ErrorMessage: Error: E O F: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream
is a network,firewall,router problem
Its not a JD problem, because the connections gets disconnected!

we suspect that our ISP disconnects the connection to RS based on the JD useragent because the problem happens only when using JD to download from RS and not when downloading from the browser.

can we change the JD useragent?

The problem seems resolved... maybe the ISP stopped filtering.

Is there a way of changing JDownloader user-agent header?

The problem is still exists which makes JDownloader unusable.
