Yes, there are :- http://jdownloader.org/download/index.

If you find any malware infected versions of jD, please report them here.

Nope, these contain all kind of malware.

So I can conclude I better not use this program, and will inform others of the malware this program contains.

Thanks for being (not) honest.

BTW, Not telling your users that this tool contains malware is abuse of customers, therefor www.jdownloader.org is now (together with **External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.jdownloader.com) on the HpHosts malware list, It will also be included in the next MVPS hosts list.

Cool

You're a funny guy.

If you can tell us where you find the malware then I'll be convinced. jD is open source software. Anyone with some Java knowledge can check the code.

I have the REAL source, not the bogus one you "share" with your customers here under my eyes, besides the Pantalla malware, there are some more "implementations" which are not included in your "shared source".

I will inform security related sites/forums in the next couple of days.

Have fun cheating your customers now that you still can, the truth will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

Note that the jdownloader.com site does not belong to the jD.org organisation. They might have malware. We recommend to stay in the jdownloader.org. domain.

I believe that if these people, you're going to communicate to in the comming days, are serious, they'll check your information. Until now you haven't provided any details of the malware you would have found in jD's code.

Nobody will take you serious.

Note also that as a junior member you're seriously jeopardising your reputation on this site.

@Djuzan: You're so....I can't find any words describing your stupidity.
1. jdownloader.com does not belong to us!
2. There is NO malware in JDownloader!
3. There is the adware "Kikin" in JDownloader to support us but everybody is free to uncheck its installation.
4. JDownloader is open source. There is no REAL source what do you mean by that? Everybody is free to check the code.
5. We have hundreds of thousands, if not millions of users out there, why should we employ malware? This would only harm ourselves.
You're really annoying. I would like to close the thread and ban you but I'll wait...for now.

You can be sure I'll be taken serious on the sites I "share" your source code

I'm not interested in my reputation on a malware spreading forum, I have better things to do. Protecting people's computers from malware being installed without the user's knowledge.

I've both the real and your bogus shared sources here, I'll let the security experts have their word on the differences between both, altogether with your dishonesty of which known spyware is included in your program.

@remi: Hehe, word.
@Djuzan: You become ridiculous. I guess you're someone not gaining enough attention in real life. And you're no developer either because if you were you would talk to the devs instead of havering in the forum. Just tell all of your imaginative friends about our bogus source code. Then you can climb the Mt. Everest, I'm sure about that, really!

Agree :D

I don't know if Djuzan took pills or inhaled something bad but everything he writes is just totally wrong.
I'am actually also using the source (making plugins) and the source that you can get is our REAL source, a 2nd version does NOT EXIST!

Cool

I wouldn't trust Windoze. It's closed source. It's the biggest malware attractor ever developed.

EDIT by Think3r: Don't start with this discussion, again, remi. ^^

EDIT by remi: No problem, some people already know it. Otherwise jD wouldn't have that much trouble getting through all the defences (router firewall, software firewalls, link scanners, multiple anti-virus tools, anti-rootkit scanners, malware scanners, etc.) that people set up to protect Windoze.

You can talk and laugh as much as you want, it just shows your "connection" with your own selves, and not being honest toward your userbase.

Just as 1 single example : Can you point me (and other customers) toward any line in either the EULA in the program or on your website regarding the included Pantalla malware ?

It would be great to have a honest response, and tell me WHERE you made your customers aware of this ?

Since jD is open source, other developers can tamper with it and insert any malware they want. However, they cannot publish the result here on this site.

jD's customers should know this and only trust the download links on this site.

I've searched for pantalla, but I can only find Spanish links. The exception is on "www.jdownloader.com", but I've no access to that page. Anyway, that site is a hoax.

Secret hint, don't share this:
Spoiler:
There is no malware bundled with JDownloader

Conclusion: Please supply comprehensible evidence within your next two posts or we'll close this discussion. Wait... did I say "discussion"!?

@Djuzan:

I do not know what 'Pantalla' is. I tried to google, but could not find anything.

Either you are a troll that wants to get fed, or a security expert, that knows about parts of JD even I do not know about, or this all is a big missunderstanding.

I'm one of the JD-founders, and please try to believe me and my team, that we honestly! do not know what you are talking about. Please help us understanding your complains.

Duzan,

I am on the support team, not one of the people who has any special access to source code. As an experienced programmer and professor, I would like a copy of your real source code to study. Just attach a RAR with the black-hat files to a message.

I am predisposed to not believe you without the source code, because you did not mention the real anti-malware reporting locations.

As a user with some privileges, I can tell you that no malware has been found in this program by any of the top antimalware packages or my Intrusion Detection Software, including scans for Windows malware that run under Linux. I would also be seeing dozens of malware related complaints on the board. The only malware we have to deal with is security software that does not explain to the user what it is doing.

That thing that really helps, is in a couple of weeks, your weekly download counts, and thus the installed spyware on users systems from your program, will drop dramatically.;)

Djuzan.. Djuzan, Djuzan..

Follow these simple directions.

Step 1.
Power off your computer.
Step 2.
Go outside.
Step 3.
Respira Profundo!

What ever smoke is in your computer room is making you high, delusional and ignorant.

Lean how to use SVN, an IDE, and come back when you have some knowledge to drop.

Thumbs up pantalla meaning

First of all, I´m spaniard:

'Pantalla' in this context should be understood as "shadow" or fake. That is, Pantalla refers to 'malware' but not with this explicit meaning. In this sentence, 'pantalla' means that jd shows an action, but in the back-ground it is doing another completely different one.

I think he's just confused that a java decompiler outputs a whole different source code than the one on CVS or SVN is. He can call that trojan, I call that non-available variable descriptions and code mutation on compile and decompile time.

This is a highly entertaining thread with lots of nice pictures.

Trolls will always find a way to post on this board. Let them express their frustrations and demonstrate their lack of competence in this thread.
