Default Dropping Internet Connection when Using Jdownloader and Browsing ?

Hi

i have an OSX Yosemite setup.

My issue is when dowloading with Jdownloader , all starts of fine. The moment i start to Browse on the Internet , or when i copy a file over the network, i lose my internet connection (WIFI).

If Jdownloader is stopped , everything else works fine , no drops. It only happens when Jdownloader is downloading.

Here is the log :

19.05.16 11.55.13 <--> 19.05.16 12.52.51 jdlog://5790825891641/

Any tipps are very much appreciated since it's driving me crazy. I reinstalled my Mac completely , and i always have the same issue.

Thanks for the help.

I also heard this issue from some friends.
Most times, it was caused by routers with wrong priorities.

or lack of proper QoS management at the router.

Setup a different DNS, for example setup your computer to use 8.8.8.8 (google) . As far as I know the fritzbox has issues with responding to dns queries under high load.

dns issue could be wireless dropping or modem resetting IP.
he had socket issues,
and throttle was mentioned in other exceptions (maybe using speed limiter at too slow speed, saw that as issue with people using large chunk values 20 at 10KiB/sec = 0.5KiB/sec each which results in constant timeouts). His log is using only a single chunk.

QoS may or may not be user configurable in router management websites. Usually it's not. Best bet is to look at your hardware help docos.

That wont work because JDownloader is normal http/https traffic. Same as your browser and any website.
Did you try to limit speed in JDownloader and slowly increase limit?

Yes, please try with low limit and then increase it until the issues happen again
