Default Invalid Download Directory

I had moved the folder containing Jdownloader files to my new server and tried to run it there. I got this error: Invalid Download directory.I had set the path correctly. I tried to download to drives (D,E,F) other than C and got this error when I am downloading to root of the Drive.

Then I created the sub folder in the drive.. and I can download it to there.

Is there any chance of files getting corrupted?

I am using the OS: Windows server 2012 r2

Thank you.

The root directories of non removable drives are protected by windows, same as windows folder itself or program files and others. Admin priviliges are required to create files in root.
Also best practices is not to store into root directly
