Default Update to newest version

I've been using jdownloader for the last 2 years. I've never updated from the version I originally downloaded. It just always updates the plugins whenever I start it up. I'd like to update to the newest version but my linklist is fairly big and I don't want to lose all of those links. How do I update without losing all of my links ?

There is no newer JDownloader Version. The latest stable is 09581.

I've just downloaded the latest version and ran setup. I now have the older version and the newest version on my computer in different locations. How can I move all of my links and settings to the new version ?

Copy all files from the directory "config" from old installation directory to new installation directory. This will copy your links and accounts to new installation.
After that - update again in new installation because jD needs to synchronize info about the plugins in the database (press Check for updates after jD starts or make manual update)

How to make manual update:
Start -> Run -> in the window type: CMD --> this will start the command line window - there you'll have to navigate to the new jD's install directory. Example: cd c:\jddownload - if your new installation directory is "jddownload" in the drive C: --> in jD's directory type: java -Xmx512m -jar jdupdate.jar (this will make full udpate and then starts jD)
