Default JDownloader Issues

hi there i am having a few issues with JDownloader.

the 1st issue is that my jdownloader is downloading at very slow speeds and i have at home a 120Mbits internet connection and i have a premium accounts for rapidshare, netload, filefactory and more.

the 2nd issue is that when i add a filefactory link into jdownloader and start it, it takes the piss starting up and then eventually freezes and stops downloading.

the 3rd issue is that when i try to do the jdownloader update, it does a small amount and then closes and opens up jdownloader. even when i do a fresh install and the programs is doing the updates it only does half and then stops.

i currently have a Advent Core i7 Laptop with Windows 7 64-bit, can anyone help, before it was downloading fine and now all of a sudden it just went bad and started to slow down.

1.Speed depends on many aspects and your Firewall/AV Scanner can also block/decrease the speed, also your ISP and the host you're downloading from.

2.Log please!

3.Open the JDownloader installation dir and start "jdupdate.jar".

when i do the updates this is what happens so when it gets to the stage of JD Update 2 picture it then automatically closes and JDownloader opens and no updates are done.

i have also installed Java 1.6 can you make sure to see if its the right one look at the attached picture and if it isn't please refer to the right place by supplying some links.

the updater closes itself and starts jd when no updates are available

you need to download JRE
just install it and in systemcontrol panel, java settings, you can make 1.6 default java

you can use 64bit or 32bit, doesn't matter
you can install 1.6 in parallel to 1.7
in systemcontrol you can change what java to use by default. change it to 1.6
