Default MEGA: jd2 doesn't properly group files and recreate folder structure

Hi,

I've noticed that sometimes jD2 doesn't grab the whole folder structure properly and instead creates a ton of little folders for every child folder.

For example:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

This link has one root folder and several folders. However, jD2 structures it as many folders and it makes a mess of it.

Thanks!

Works fine for me. 8 Folders -> 8 Packages in Linkgrabber.
Can you provide a screenshot what it looks like for you?

This is how it looks on my end. It creates 8 different folders and each folder has a subfolder and each of the subfolders then has the "right" subfolder with files in it.

That's correct subfolder structure behaviour. Some plugins support *folder structure* support so the downloaded files have the same file/folder structure as on server.

If you don't want those, you've got to disable Settings-Packagizer-"Adopt folder structure" rule. You've got to add the links again as the changes will only affect new added files

Jiaz, I still can't get it to recreate the folder structure that's the same as on Mega. I just tried it on a new Mega link, I've disabled the "Adopt folder structure" and it still created tons of folders. I also tried disabling the Packagizer completely. Same results.

Why can't jD2 recreate the same folder structure as on Mega? If I click on "download as ZIP" through Mega's web interface, the ZIP file looks exactly like the website. But jD2 creates all these nested layers of subfolders. It's maddening.

Are there any options that would keep the folder structure the same as Mega?

Thanks for all the help!

I'm sorry but I can't reproduce any error. Each folder on Mega will have it's own package in JDownloader.
Your screenshot looks okay to me. I can't test myself because I don't have the mega link, but from screenshot
it looks like the courses folder has multiple subfolders inside.

"Adopt folder structure" will recreate the same folder structure as on mega.
"Adopt folder structure" disabled will fallback to the remaining "Subfolder" rule where each package will have it's own subfolder in download directory.

with "Adopt folder structure" enabled, the downloaded files are exact as on mega.
Don't get confused by what is shown in download list. JDownloader doesn't support nested packages and each folder on mega will have its own package entry in list.
