Unhappy Memory use too much, where change?

Now it crash sometimes because it is eating my memory. But why?
I must have JDownloader2.vmoptions file to cut memory use. But I have no JDownloader2.vmoptions file.
When I create it and make change -Xmx1g nothing changes. I create in program folder and cfg folger. But not helps.
When I change system variable _JAVA_OPTIONS to -Xmx1g also not help.

JDownloader still sit there and laugh at me still show in about: Max:6.33 GB.
I not wnat it this much. I want it lower. Where can I change memory maximal?

somewhat depends on the operating system, windows should be within the install path.

Good day.
Yes Windows. But no JDownloader2.vmoptions.

I looked in program path and in cfg path. I make search in folder.
Where else?

But also when I create, not works.

think the .vmoption file is only present/created when the binary has bad value. In the past some of the installers had bad/incorrectly configs. So the program can override the exe (see SecondLevelLaunch.java).
So what to do? create the file and place in your values it should work. If you still have issue send email to support@jdownloader.org and ask for teamviewer session, and Jiaz or Coalado will check into it for you.
