Install the captchatrader plugin and pre-fill out a bunch of captchas ahead of time.

A nit is a very small bug. About the size of a gnat, or a flea. It means you focus on things that are very, very tiny.
It's generally used as an insult actually, but he's clearly meaning it as a good thing.

Thanks for explaining me. I didn't know that knit is synonymous with nit. I thought knit was a verb. The second part of that sentence probably means that I'm in a heightened state of awareness.

Focussing on the details is indeed needed but I usually focus on the overall/big picture.

@kensou_bao

Please, read the first post of the captcha thread.

Using JD 0.9.421 on Ubuntu 9.04 x64

Seems like hotfile capcha becomes tough. Now it fails very often. JD pops up a screen to ask user input.

That is non-issue.
However i fully agree with reason #7

@Arioch1
Why is this a non-issue?
Explain that to me, please...
If you're such a genious, maybe you should make a recognition and show us how it's done!

Non-issue because:

reCaptcha consists of 2 words.

One is the word the google engine could not recognise. Fortunately, it is easily recognisable by the human eye. I always put something like "asdf" in place of that because I don't want to help google, and it always works.

Another word is the actual captcha. It is not based on what google could not recognise, it is architectured specifically to make our life miserable. It usually consists of letters in no common pattern, so it is hard to type in (this is how you differentiate one word from another).

Hope this helps.

@r5clp
Still my point is correct.
Originally they are (maybe) from books and they are DEFINITLY dynamic (even if google modifies them they always look a bit different = dynamic)!

The part in bold is incorrect. There is no point in recognising the words google could not recognize. They are irrelevant.

So how would you change the description?
It actually doesn't really matter what i put there, the status won't change, there is no recognition for reCaptcha and probably there will never be one...

1) i did not even type "asdf" - i justo nly type the crafted word alone.

2) i disagree about "no common pattern". To me they seemd to be merged from two parts, each of those being part fo common word pattern. Yet they are glued together in exotic place or manner. So it is bi-pattern, not single one. Like Raxxla, IYKWIM

Many captchas apply different GFX post-effects, so the letters look different.
I do not think Google generated word is cardinally different, and Google real-world word can be just ignored.

I remember someone already mentioned software auto-typing reCaptcha.

Those links can be outdated and perhaps you already saw them, but the are indirect proof of a kind.

No PUBLIC version, because the recaptcha team actively monitors this forum.
And they have some fancy algos that statistically determine if there are new bots that massively try a new OCR.

Just to remind you guys that you can save time solving recaptcha if you are able to identify the "fake" word/picture. You only need to solve the "google-generated" word.

When i check my log of received answers then most of the time i find something like this:
Captcha answer received : number ifeetie
Obviously (?) "number" is a valid english word, meaning you dont need to solve it.

It definitely saves time to just type the google-generated word, if possible to identify.

Hope it helps

<command cmd="tools\windows\captcha\safelinking.net\ocr.bat" src="tools\windows\captcha\safelinking.net\safelinking.gif" dst="tools\windows\captcha\safelinking.net\result.txt" />
</jDownloader>

Is it possible to switch reCaptcha window to display nonJS friendly version (http://imgur.com/4LcsM) that shows when you disable javascript from recaptcha.net or google.com?

If you enter captcha incorrectly this way, it will simply grab new captcha and display it immediatly.

In JS version (where you simply enter two words with no need of copy-pasting), verification is done later and file-sharing server can recognize that captcha was guessed wrong. In that case most services put "You entered captcha wrong, retry in 30 seconds. Or don't wait and buy account for money here" .

The reason for this is its presence in curl -s http://update4ex.jdownloader.org/branches/last09/outdated.dat|grep jacinfo.xml. Bug #2710 refer to this.

A workaround is to remove the file from outdated.dat. It will however want to update it if it's modified.

Captcha is irritating. Especially sometimes killing also eyes of users, which in contort sequences of letters and digits sometimes cannot see nothing simply. And already of especially nothing sensible.

Example screen:

@djmakinera
So why are you posting this here?
We have no influence on any captchas in JD...

From now on, this thread is not a sticky anymore.
Discussions and questions about all kinds of captchas can be done in the official captcha FAQ thread.
Actually, the FAQ should answer all of your question, at least in every usual case.
