First off: thank you for these great news and your efforts!

Unfortunately the libs aren't working on my headless RasPi 4.

The update brought the fix, Archive Extractor is activated and ARMv5 is now supported!!
Awesome, thanks a lot!

One question to clarify things:
My CPU is ARM v7 or 8, instead the lib for v6 was chosen.
Are there performance differencies, or is v6 as good as v7?

And the output in the extracion log is quite verbose showing a few exceptions. Is this intended or due to the beta testing?

Thanks for your feedback!

I will be back in our forum support on monday and I will answer your questions then!
Until then please either wait or, if urgent, contact us via support@jdownloader.org.

It seems like overall, our update went smooth as we didn't get any reports within the last ~3 hours.

Have a nice weekend!

No worries, nothing urgent here. Monday is totally fine - enjoy your weekend!

Question 2 has been answered in the meanwhile after another update.
The log now only contains informational lines and no errors:

So - we didn't get any further reports.
Seems like the update went really well.

I will leave this thread open and pinned for another 1-2 weeks just in case.

Well done indeed, you did a good job there!

One question remained unanswered though:
Are there performance differencies, or is v6 as good as v7?
I was thinking maybe invert the matching order from highest to lowest arm-version.
would feel better to see the lib matching the architecture

Answer from Jiaz:
Quote:
JDownloader remembers last working library ID and tries this one first, that's why V5 error no longer shows up. The error happens because of non universal supported v5 library (will be updated again).
I didn't notice great difference between v6 and 7 and order is from low to high because incompatible library (arm version) will lead to crash of java process so try a v7 on v6 cpu will crash java/JDownloader.
RaspberryPi 4 is Armv7 in 32 bit mode, Armv8 mode is 64bit.

@Rabelux
You can manually switch to v7 for testing:
1. Addvanced Settings --> Extraction: Extraction.lastworkinglibid --> Set to:
Code:
Linux-armv71
2. Restart JD

Cool that this setting is user-switchable.
Tried it and it works, both with rar4 and rar5

Merged extraction threads!
@Rebelux
Did you notice any performance differences with the other lib?

@psp
