Default Jdownloder installation package 2 time, bug or normal?

Hi,
I have a simple question, more out of curiosity, when I install jdownloader, sometimes it seems to do us a double download of the package, some times it does download package just after the green bar comes back behind the initial check, and after another download package when the bar green comes almost in the middle. But sometimes when I do a new installation it just makes a download package at almost half a green bar and at the beginning it is not done. Is it normal or is it a bug that it does so?

Hi,
as long as you've obtained the installer over our download page jdownloader.org/download/index there is no need to worry.
(Optional: Adware free installer: jdownloader.org/jdownloader2)
The described behavior is not a bug!

JDownloader contains of two update repositories.:
JDownloader.jar (JDU) and the rest (JD)

The installer requests a package from 0 (none) to current head revision for the used environment (os, bitness, cpu..)

For each package and in case they are not ready yet, then it has to wait (first bar) for them.
After package is finished, it will download and install them (next bar).

With ready packages available, the first step is finished fast and thus the first bar is not visible at all or or only for short moment.
