Default Problems with Premium account [Simply Debrid]

It's been sometimes that JD2 seems to be losing my Simply Debrid account details and stopping download from then on.

I lost account of when it did first happen, but it was several updates ago.

It usually happens in the middle of a downloading task, so stopping doing so and claiming I need a Premium or so to go on.

What may be causing it and what can I do to solve it?

OK, the problem just happened, and the log I got was this:

15.01.14 23.09.00to15.01.14 23.10.09 jdlog://4020923439831/

Is that enough or should I get anything else?

OK, the error was the same: "Account is missing".

You go the Premium manager and the line is in red, saying the login is wrong. You have to delete it and add it again to get going.

This all in the same session which minutes ago had been downloading fine.

Definitely there's some missed communication between JD2 and my computer.

When I tried to get a log, the date it was showing was January 18. I had to boot JD2 again to get January 20 on the log.

Hi,

Please delete the folder logs (it's into the install dir of JD2), then reproduce the problem, and finally post a new log.

Greetings,

Let's see if this log puts any light on my problem:

20.01.14 16.24.06to20.01.14 20.52.08 jdlog://7134923439831/

Do I delete the Log directory or what's inside it?

Whatever you want, that doesn't matter.

I'm running JD2 on Fedora Linux. The date of the log that is shown to you after clicking on "Create a Log" is very misleading. JD2 seems to use the timestamp of the particular log directory, but the log contents of that directory is up-to-date. I went round and round regarding this issue. Then I went looking in the directory and found that the log for my premium account was up-to-date.

Like you, I too am having issues with JD2 crapping on itself and losing the account info. In my case, it is for uploaded.to. I reported this in the uploaded.to thread.

I was also getting the problem where the premium account was flagged red, with a plugin error status. I had to rebuild as well. This went on for several occasions.

But, recently, it would do the "missing account" problem, then after several downloads were marked as such, a couple were flagged as needing a captcha and then it started working again with files further down the priority list. The account was never red flagged.

Something was recently broken regarding plugin support. At first I thought that the uploaded.to plugin was broken, but now with your report regarding a different premium account, it is more of a core issue.

My core version is 23845. There is another update waiting that I have to fetch.

The log shows: "Account -edited-->simply-debrid.com is invalid!" because login request didn't get correct response.

I do not know what does it mean what the log shows, as it gets "normal" again when I re-load the data and gets "wrong" by itself hours later.

I'm not sure what login request didn't get correct response.

As I usually download from uploaded using my Simply Debrid account, I can't say if that would happen with other servers.

Whatever it shows, I think it's a JD2 bug, not SD.

Just now it did the same error, and here's the log:

22.01.14 14.40.12to22.01.14 14.39.37 jdlog://0321234130931/

I agree with you, especially since I use UL directly. Recently JD2 has been complaining about my account missing when it was still there and not marked as being bad.

It's really unnerving. Now it happened once again.

Downloading fine and BAM!... error.

Any hints on what might be happening and how to cure it?

Where or how can I get information that can actually help solve the problem?

The past night it happened again and stopped a large download I was doing.

Your problem is a connection issue, until you fix it, JD won't work as expected.
If this connection issue only with JD then the cause is AV / FW.

FW is firmware? What's AV?

I keep using JD2 because I have always liked it, and it's the program Simply Debrid recommends. But it's a bit frustrating lately with this bug.

Default simply-debrid not working

Simply-Debrid does not work properly. Either JD refuses the password or states that the password is incorrect. Deleting host entry, re-entering host-entry helps, it works again, but only for a few minutes, after which it again shows the same erratic behaviour as before. Any help in this regard is much appreciated, thanks!
