Default stop and start automatically when download is too slow

Hello!

Is it possible in JDownloader2 (with an addon) to stop and start a specific download when it is too slow?
For example slower than 50 kb/s for over 30 seconds.

I have sometimes the problem that 9 of 10 files load fast, but 1 download from the same hoster is really slow. When manually deactivating and activating the download solves the performance issue.

OK, perhaps this could be implemented in a future release?
I'm not a developer, but this can't be so hard to add? ;-)

This would be an interesting feature to add.

Many times these days a DL will have what it calls "connection problems" and starts a 5min countdown to try again. Usually it starts and DLs just fine after the reconnect.
But the truth is I dont have to wait 5mins, i just have to stop and restart the DL (no reset) BUT it would be nice if JD2 at least didnt have the annoying 5min cooldown before it starts again.

If u wont add this feature idea, at least lower the 5min cooldown to something like 15-30secs. 5mins is WAY too long.

@MrGonzo
But this is a different "problem" - via advanced setting you can by the way set the general waittime for connection problems...
Type in "timeout" and explore.

Thxs p2p...

Im looking into all the timeout settings right now as u suggested, and Im having trouble finding the right one.

Ill give an example. Each time I try to DL a file from "uptobox" the DL starts fine but drops quickly to 0 speed. then it quits and a green error message come up "connection problems" countdown 5mins. If i stop and start the DL again (after a min or so) it does fine.

....So what exact timeout setting name am i looking for to lower that 5min cooldown? I just dont wanna pick the wrong one and mess something up. Thxs dude

I'd say:
GeneralSettings: Waittime On Connection Loss
and/or:
GeneralSettings: Network Issues Timeout
Try it - if changes (after a JD restart) have no effect, reset these settings to their defaults - then it can only be changed in the plugin!

As a premium user I have exactly the same problem and would love to see this as a feature in the next release.
Just one line in the settings tab like "Restart downloads if average download speed slower than [...] kB/s"

Thanks a lot!
