Default Download interceptor feature for browser extension

Jdownloader 2 is definitely a terrific Download Manager.
The only regret is that I still doesn't allow the automatic intercepting of download tasks from the Browser and forward them to JD2.
I was checking the forum and found those two threads which date back to February and April 2019.

[Solved] Catch on click

[Solved] Intercept downloads

Thanks to Jiaz's answers, it has been said that this feature will be implemented in newer versions/updates of the Browser extension. Therefore, my question is when is this feature expected to rollout as of today? Is there any expected date to watch out for, or?

This feature (intercept downloads) is still in development for the browser extension. I'm sorry but I can't provide any ETA. Currently the developer is working on new extension to make it easier to maintain/add new features

Geez. That's kind of sad. Anyway, thanks for the reply and for the additional info. I'll keep myself updated following its development.
