Placing files in folders named based on URL
I am trying to have the downloaded files be placed in a folder named from the URL. As an example, my goal is to have a folder named Fred%20Allen%20-%20Texaco%20Star%20Theater (with or without %, I am ok with either) for the following downloaded file.
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** I could not accomplish this using the dynamic variable <jd:source:(number)pattern>. I tried <jd:source:1> and other numbers under packagizer as a predefined folder location. Any help is much appreciated. |

Why don't you just use the "subfolder by packagename" functionality?
If you add this URL, you already get a package in JD with the name of that .mp3 file: See here: https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...ackage-feature -psp-

I'll give a pictorial example. I expanded 3 files in the picture. Each file is in an individual package. Subfolder by packagename creates one folder per file. I'm trying to place multiple files in a subfolder whose name would come from the URL. Is it possible?

Code:
Downloadurl -> contains -> /OTRRLib/Library*Files/*Series/*/ then set -> Package Name -> <jd:hoster:3> |

Mgpais rule will work if you want to place all files in a folder based on a part of the URL - in this case in:
Code:
Fred%20Allen%20-%20Texaco%20Star%20Theater
