Default filefactory logins wrong

Getting the error "filefactory logins wrong". I deleted the account and attempted to add it back into Account Manager when I got the same error message again. Please see attachment.

24.08.17 07.12.27 <--> 24.08.17 07.12.27 jdlog://9671414015941/

Happened after the latest update.

I can login to my premium account to the website through my browser.

Thanks

Please send username/password to support@jdownloader.org so we can check it
Has nothing to do with update because last changes in Filefactory Plugin are from 20.07.2017.

Filefactory api is currently down
api.filefactory.com/v1/getSessionKey responds with
Currently not available!

As soon as it is up and running again, JDownloader should be working fine again

Although we informed JDownloader in advance of our changes it appears they have not updated their app yet to work with our site, so you may be stated as a free member instead of Premium. Please contact them regarding this issue.

In the meantime you might like to use an alternative download manager.

JD should be unaffected by there website changes, since our client doesn't use it.
We exclusively use there API, since the API isn't there end user website it should still 'work'. But by the looks of it they have removed/disabled/broken it for some reason (could be by mistake). I have not received any notification of changes (to my personal emails) and I have communicated with them in the past. I can't confirm if they tried to communicate to JDownloader project via email as I don't see those. If they did, I would/should have been told by Appwork and that hasn't happened. I believe we have only learnt of this issue entirely from user reports. Historically FileFactory does have artistic licence when it comes to support ticket responses though (You can find this on our forum).

I'll send an email off and see what they can do about it.

should be working again, it was caused by FileFactory disabling there API.

It seem that the Refresh button in account manager is culpit. When I left clicked filefactory icon in left down corner, uncheck premium account and check it again, this account refreshed correctly. The same think happend with other filehost as well.

@jathri

fetching account info on scrape or via clicking the icon on account bottom bar or via the refresh button in account manager, or right click refresh in account manager itself all uses the exact same function.

so no that's not the reason for it. Once disabled for wrong logins it wont auto retry.
you probably just had the wrong plugin version, in which they prevented you from login

I think that is OK, but I would expect it would retry when I click Refresh button...

it does. =]

though i would refrain from fresh button as it does ALL accounts in the manager from my experience. Better off just doing the one you want via right click function.
