Debloat Jdownloader for Maximum Performance?
Does anyone know any tweaks to debloat and speed up Jdownloader especially for slow or low end PCs?
Windows or Java itself might be responsible for some performance issues. If you know any Windows or Java tweaks that work, that's also welcome. I think disabling Indexing Options helps a bit (but Windows Search may not work, you could instead use VoidTools Everything which is a faster alternative). Anyway, for Jdownloader: I think there was an ad-free installer, but I forgot the link and don't know if it makes a difference in the final installed Jdownloader. For Settings > Advanced Settings > I found out some filter settings such as: premium alert (disable) oboom (disable) Special Deals (disable) Donate (hidden, auto mode) Banner (disable) You can disable the speed meter graph by right clicking it and disabling "Speedmeter visible" For a fast computer, these might not make any noticeable difference but it could for a slow PC. I found this online too: "- Set logging to off by going to Advanced Settings and unchecking Log.Loglevel" I can't find this setting... "- Disable window decoration by going to Settings -> User Interface -> Window Decoration -> None" Also can't find this setting... And if you're desperate on an ancient computer, you can minimize and resize the window a little. Do you know any more performance tweaks? Finally, does Jdownloader use any telemetry, or hardware acceleration? If so, how can these be disabled? Thanks. Last edited by folderdownloader; 09.11.2024 at 03:25. |
