I am trying to grab the links from a youtube playlist that is around 150 video's long however the plugin grabs only the first 100.

I get that this is potentially an optimization to prevent too many however is there anyway to configure the limit to be higher? Maybe a user setting?

I was talking to coalado the other week, we might discontinue youtube for all but JD2. Main reason is no one has been maintaining the plugin and it seems to be full of bugs/issues.

I have problem in downloading videos from youtube.

jdownloader can capture the all video and audio files of youtube link, and download the mp4 video file in two part one part as video dash file and other part as audio dash file, but after completing download process, it can't merge the two parts to make a complete mp4 video file. I found out that mp4 file is only audio file with less size than expected from downloading.

I don't have the same problem with other streaming websites.

Please, help me as soon as possible.

the two dash files should be demuxed together with ffmpeg, on failure due to not enough harddrive space or missing ffmpeg, or wrongly configured demux option, the two dash files will be left. If you force start again it should re-try to demux, check the logs/sessionid/youtube.0 log for reasons why it failed.

Confirmed, but there was an update applied to JD2 before I tried it. Either way it seems to be fixed!

Youtube host plugin does not fully work. The *date*, *username* and *channelname* are broken.

*videonumber* might also be broken.

I wish there was an option for youtube playlist download to not just automatically start adding videos from the playlist if you fail to respond. When adding links sometimes you don't notice, and then you have an issue with the program just adding tons of links, and the cancel linkgrabber doesn't work right so it can't be stopped.

You don't extract the date from the html page? Because you can see the html page and the date is on there but the video is blanked out unless you log in or have a GreaseMonkey script like me.

There are also other youtube videos that it does not extract the date from that are not adult content.

I've added play-list/channel-list control in JD2, Default action will now ask you, but you can define your own setting 'settings > plugins > youtube > If Link equals Play-List or Channel-List'. This should prevent accidental decrypting of entire channels profiles and play-lists. With timeout and cancel aborting the decrypting process. My commit probably will be stuck within a build block, as I had to commit changes that will create conflicts. So within the next day or so that will be solved.

the work around gets info from another page, and not the blocked one. Anything that requires login and we use work around some of the variables wont work. Best bet is to make a login and place it into JD2 account manager, the problem will be solved.

its a error on youtube end, you could try and download a different audio quality as it fails on the DASH audio component.
