As others noted. Hi all.I'm having problems downloading from YT all a sudden.It was working fine last night.Now everything is giving me "file not found" or zeros in the link grabber purse pop up..


Did a URL check to YT and the video are OK and still available....

I updated JD2 and still having problems.

I'm just wondering if YT is blocking my IP as I probably went over their bandwidth limits from downloading alot of videos in the last few days.....

YouTube is not block you personally.... this appears to be happening to many JD2 users. It stopped working for me around 11pm Hawaii time. My friends in Austria and Ireland are reporting the same thing.

I am in US Central Time, and the last video I saved was at 7:20 AM.

P.S. : This change also broke youtube-dl's link grabber, and most likely many other downloaders as well.

I wonder what savefrom.net uses because YouTube download still works fine on their website? (or do online YouTube download websites use different methods to provide download of YouTube videos?)

Looks like issue is gone, youtube videos are downloadable again, thank you, just fix 6fps to 60fps ^)

My JD2 just updated itself 2 minutes ago.

After it restarted, all YouTube videos are shwoing up as "error... null" and "offline" :(

The issue I reported a few months age has resurfaced. Adding video dates to the filename doesn't work, as of some time on September 12.

It seems to be exactly the same problem, so I'll just link to my old post.

Hi,

Today I experienced strange issues with YT links. One link will not parsed or nothing can be found - even when entered manually.

The second clip is getting stuck very early - after a few MBs, then reports network issues. Tried a couple of times on two installations of JD2, same effect. Clip works ok on YT.

This JD2 is running on physical machine, not a VM.

Ok - the mystery of the first link (not parsed) is now sorted - that was a live transmission and it took YT a while to fully process the file. It downloaded ok now.

The 2nd link still reporting network issues.

I can download everything else from YT no problem - just this one causing trouble. As I said - tried on another jd2 installation and got exactly the same result.

@msq: I'm sorry, totally confused two different logs :(
issue is caused server side, that one stream/quality fails after about 26mb. either this is a temp. issue and try again later or
try another quality/format.

I meant the max connections/chunks and not max downloads but you can leave your values
