Not sure what happened. Might have been after the last update but jdownloader now refuses to start up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app I still get the same issue. Looks like it's a Java error but don't what to make of it...

I would replace the JRE by another one and try again. Try the stable JRE (1).6 update 21.

A full log will surely tell more about the cause of your java crash.

use update 28 or try the not released update 30
update 29 already has some known bugs
