The board looks ancient and i think updating it would be useful for staff and users

Disadvantages of old versions:
- Many deadly vulnerabilities risking the whole board
- Hideous user interface and themes
- Outdated, Limited, Basic and Simple Text Editor


Advantages of new versions:
- Nicer themes and userinterface
- Way less vulnerabilities
- Better navigation across forums threads
- Better searching in threads
- Built-in Blog
- Control the forum better with nicer control panel
- Nice plugins and addons could be installed
- Better Text Editor
- Many other improvement
- Updating to newer version is easy and could use older versions data
- And much more...

So, why not considering to update to new version??
Or there are other plans on a new board project?

for memory this version of the board was been maintained security wise by vbul until recently. We have a new board ready and waiting for new deployment when appwork are ready for the change over.

The new board is already in development. We want to release new homepage/forum at the same time and still some work left for us to do.
