Why would you rename multiple packages at the same time?
Just merge them ...

Example... just like in a text editor <==> the same list of package names ..

Find the list (Linkgrabber or/and Download) all packages with the Name: (...) and Replace by: (...)

multiline, multifind, multireplace

Replace by [...]
Use RegEx [x] []

Rename Package/MultiPackage - not possible - Why ?

It has not been implemented because no one asked for it.
If you ask me, we don't need it as it would barely be used ...
