Unpacking takes ages
I dont know when this happened, because i didnt changed anything particular, but since some time jd needs a tremendous amount of time to unpack anything, like 4 hours for 10GB.
If i unpack it with 7zip manually it takes like 8 min like it should, on the same hdd like i setup on jd. For some time i had winzip installed but uninstalled it meanwhile an now only have 7zip. Maybe it interferes somehow because i uninstalled it? idk. I know for sure that i didnt had this problem like a few monts ago. It just happened somedays. Should i try reinstall jd? Can this be done without losing my config? i really dont want to setup everything again :( If thats the case i just disable auto unpacking in jd and do it manually from now on. Edit: Interesting. Just right know i unpack 14gig and it says 15 min. that sounds ok. I dont get it. Maybe because my pc runs only for an hour or so since i started? Does that makes sense? But as i said it wasnt in the past. It unpacked everytime like it should, no matter if i just started my pc or if it ran for 12 hours. Last edited by deimudda69; 20.09.2017 at 13:30. |

Use updated 7zip bindings, https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=71069
the old one has a performance bug causing very long extraction times for 7zip and some other archive types.
