Default Wait until the download limit expires

In some hosters when you hit a certain threshold you reach a download limit which means you have to wait for a specific amount of time, ex, an hour or two, before being able to download again.

When this happens the next link gets started.

I was wondering if it is possible to not continue to the next link and just wait for the time limit to expire so you can download that specific file.

Please provide more details because JDownloader should handle those limits and not start next download automatically. What host are you downloading from? No/Free/Premium Account?

I am talking about 1fichier.com and upotobox.com, they are free hosts.
I am not using Reconnect, if it makes any difference.

Please provide a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post shown logID here
there are no known issues with those plugins and in case normal waiting time is detected, JDownloader will wait.

I think SirJohnny is asking for a way to wait for every hosters.
Example (correct me if I am wrong):
Quote:
hosterA downloaded
hosterA download limit reached
hosterB
hosterC
hosterA
etc...
SirJohnny want
Quote:
hosterA downloaded
hosterA download limit reached
hosterB waiting
hosterC waiting
hosterA download limit reached
etc...
and not
Quote:
hosterA downloaded
hosterA download limit reached
hosterB starting
hosterC
hosterA download limit reached
etc...

I'm sorry but that's not possible/supported.
Why wait (and waste time) when JDownloader could already download the next files in list (B and C)?

My reason for this is that I use mainly these two hosts, so when there is a time limit, the next link to be downloaded could be days earlier.

I'm sorry but I don't understand. Was 'askin2u' correct about what you mean?
When there is a time limit, JDownloader will just try to download the next link that is possible.

From what I understand I agree with askin2u.

My aim is that if there is a download time limit, every other link and host to not proceed with downloading but to wait until the download time limit is gone, the specific link to be downloaded and then go to the next link.

The purpose of this is that if I have a list of 10 links from the two hosts I use, I could let them download all day without worrying if some unrelated download starts.

That's the part I don't understand. Why *worry* about other downloads?
Now JDownloader downloads what possible without *wasting* time. And you still prefer NOT to download anything for (maybe) hours even if JDownloader could download/finish other files in the same time?

As I already wrote, it's not possible/supported. And I'm trying to understand why you still wish this

Ok, we have settled that it's not possible/supported.

Regarding the why, I will give you a simple example. Let's say you have two packages, one with books to learn C++ and one with books for java.

If I want this week to learn C++ I don't care about the Java books package, I just want the C++ books. If the Java books get downloaded I will have to deal with the space they take and organize them.

In that case, you have to manually disable the unwanted hoster/links so JDownloader doesn't download them until you want them to be downloaded.

Thans for explaining the use case to me!

Is it possible to restrict the next available download to a specific package ?

So, if every link in a specific package has α download limit don't go to another package but just try to the same links in the same package again and again until the limit is lifted ?

Also, could I use the event scripter or create a plugin to wait out the time limit ?

should be able to create an event scripter script, to check if your package a is complete re-enable the next package b. all you would need to do is disable all packages but starting one, and use comment field to set your desired order. all packages without comment or still enabled get ignored by the script.

You might wanna ask mgpai or here https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
I agree that the easiest solution would be to disable all other packages and enable the next one once the previous is finished. Thx to @raztoki for this idea.
