Set default "Sort Packages by Name" in the "Downloads" category
In the “LinkGrabber” category, files within a package are automatically sorted by default in alphabetical order once they are added/included into a single package, however, this is not the case when merging files into one package in the “Downloads” category so I have to manually right-click on the package and then click “Sort Package(s) by Name” twice; so now all new files added to that package will automatically be sorted in alphabetical order.
My question is, how can I set all future packages in the “Downloads” category to automatically always sort files within any package by name without having to manually click on the “Sort by” twice? This is already the case in the “LinkGrabber” category so I assume that it may also be possible in the “Downloads” category as well. Perhaps with a packagizer rule or event script? |

How exactly do you merge the links/package in Downloads ? Via Drag/Drop or via rightclick context and "move to new package" action?
Drag/Drop, on the package or on a link?

Drag/Drop links and packages. I only drag/drop.
I Drag/Drop individual packages into a single package, which is the exact same method I do it in the "LinkGrabber" category which sorts it alphabetically by default, which is why I'm surprised that doing the exact same in the "Downloads" category does not automatically sort it the same way. Edit Update: Since you mentioned it; I tried via the right-click and "move to new package" action and that did not auto-sort it alphabetically in either the "LinkGrabber" or "Downloads" category. They are auto-sorted in alphabetical order only when using "Drag/Drop" in the "Linkgrabber" category. Last edited by RPNet-user; 01.07.2021 at 22:54. |
