@ Beauty:
I think this survey will take a while to total. It is not a simple poll.

I cannot speak for scr4ve, but I am quite sure that a summary will be in the General Discussion forum later.

@ Madara Shadow: ¿?
The team decided not to put a search engine in JDownloader, and I don't think a copy machine will fit.

@ matrixik:
Thank you for working hard on the survey. You are helping to shape the future of JDownloader.

Hmm, I got the survey down to 5 seconds from start to finish and it still tells me that the session has expired by the end

so
8/10, better unrar, and stop the package window jumping up and down the window

I would say 10/10 for the survey.

It was very easy to follow and did not hand up anywhere. The format was excellent. It was not confusing at all.

After update, starting JD forces you to take the survey. This is a Major Bug.

Hello. I am pleased with the JDownloader. Thanks to him I can even automatically download large files, divided into partitions. Nor can I complain about the interface and, thanks to wide range of skins, I can customize it to your own tastes. I am a Pole and I have a Polish version of JDownloader. I am very pleasant; this was at all and I am very pleased that I can use this program in their own language. The only drawback I can possibly put out a program is a free plug-in update notification on the Polish forum, as well as low co-operation with some servers, such as filebase.to, gotupload.com and storage.to. But I think that this cooperation will be improved along the lines megaupload.com, because the server unless the program is working best. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the program JDownloader.

Ich finde die Fragen und Antworten sehr gelungen. Es war weder zu wenig, noch zu viel. Genau richtig und durchdacht.

Great Idea with the survey, everything was very easy to follow except for the "What is important to you" page. I had trouble understanding what you guys meant. Were you asking what is important to you for further development of JDownloader or what is important to you in general (Anywhere). In any event i filled it out and wasn't that big of a deal just a lil feedback.

Thanks so much to the JDownloader Team i couldn't live without it!

It is an excellent idea to survey the customers. Very good questions. I hope a follow up survey will probe deeper into the priorities for new features.

Do you know you can select the columns to be displayed in the download pane?

Could you please create a new bug report thread for this in the bugs forum?

jD does not support the BitTorrent protocol. Please, ask at one of the many BitTorrent forums.

Thanks for all your investments into this project.
With this project you make clear that you want to implement users whishes and thats a great service!
In contrast to cryptload you make a very great job!

Well, I said all important things in my survey, so they're here.

Mostly satisfied, as JDownloader is the best (no kidding) downloading program around here. So positives are big, but there are few negatives:

Memory spending, sometimes not working hosters/decrypters (what's the difference? it simply doesn't work, couldn't start downloading), but focus on memory. That's the biggest problem.

Also, some when someone is running Browser with more than one windows, has file commander on, winamp, some other gadgets, is for example trying to play some little game and also has JDownloader on (me), it can be hard on memory.

I would like to have JD in background, where it would spend, let's say 50MB. Possible ?

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU. I think it is what most JD users believes. You've created very, very good application which has only one problem, is too big when it shouldn't be. For those who can afford big size, features, graphic, it's OK, but there should be option for those without solid hardware backup.

Except this, A-Class.

One more thing. It's quite strange, but it crossed my mind (my JD) right now.

When adding multiple packages (let's say something from sharebee), one need to sort them by name and choose only (for example rapidshare and delete other hosters), but when sorting in LINKGRABBER by "Package / Filename", the ones with Capital letter are sorted A-Z and then a-z.

Can it be aA-zZ ? You know

Same happened to me, so I've completed it again (using Opera BACK button, which saves text in forms), I just had to fill switches again (how I agree / disagree). Never mind, I have another glitch, this is rather strange one:

When in main download window (list of files), when I select more files at once by using touchpad from UP to DOWN (from top to bottom), I select few and before I can do anything with them (delete, start them), my selection disappears.

This is not happening, when selecting from DOWN to UPwards.
