Default Some captchas are impossible to solve by JD2

I doubt there's much that can be done about this and I suppose it will pass but currently with different unconnected hosts, eg Keep2share and Novafile. When trying to download using JD2 The captcha s that JD2 provides are of a specific type and frustratingly impossible to solve even after several attempts and then a download limit kicks in while if I download via browser, they are a different type and easy to solve.

I may try to post an example.

example with screen shots of captchas within jd vs browser please!

Just to note, captchas can be dependant on browser (user agent) and cookie session and IP address

each free download uses the same agent and IP (assuming you haven't reconnected modem to bypass wait times), but does not retain any cookies from previous session.

depending on the captcha service, the more you hit up a service requesting new captchas with a given tracking mechanism (see above) the harder the captcha becomes. They have done this to prevent code from solving captchas. Code solvers generally are slow and have low success rate.

The captchas via JD on Keep2share have now reverted to easier more conventional types for the latest link once timeout has been served.
The captchas I mentioned of a certain type were particularly difficult to decipher with very similar and ambiguous letters often repeated. i'll try to post an example if it happens again.
So are you saying the captchas that JD might provide are different from those that browser might provide as the user agent is different?

I had exactly the same problem with K2S and Luckyshare but changing ip it was solved. I think the problem is what raztoki says: as more captcha you request and solve, the harder they get until is insolvable.

Basically, to prevent automated solvers they make it harder for the more requests to a given service. They have algorithms to determine this based on what I said above and other unknown variables. Even if you're not using automated code solvers, and have a high success rate at solving captchas they still make the captchas harder based on your requests for captcha. I find solvemedia worse for this more so than recaptcha. The more downloads I start from a given host/provider API ID, the harder they get. Getting a new IP would be the first override, secondly new browser user-agent. But user-agents set by JD or the plugin and not the user. Every new download = new browser and no cookie sessions are carried over, so cookies wont be a problem for JD.

Now I'm having this issue with Asafile.
Even though it's been over a day since I last attempted the download via JD2.
In JD2 I get the familiar (as with previous host mentioned in OP) yet virtually unsolvable captchas with very ambiguous characters.
See first attached screenshot.
In browser, trying seconds later , for the same link and file I get easier captchas as attached in the second.

coalado is working on javascript implementation encase they are manipulating the captcha image choice based on in browser javascript, vs the standard API method in which we use. BTW your first image isn't unsolvable to me, it's 'frmhtkh tyrhnr'

I said virtually unsolvable. You try solving them in real time with a time limit . Even when you think you've done it , you get another one so it's not a simple as you think.

I know what you said, I said I find them not so hard. I would have solved that in under 2seconds. If I have trouble, I analyse given characters 'up to down' vs normal 'left to right'. I find it removes some of the noise/visual trickery.

See what coalado comes up with.

"would have?" are you doing them with real links? I almost never get them to work though I "think" I have solved them. I believe the hosts may be trying to thwart some auto downloaders.

yah it should been a u. Considering it was a two second solve, and I read from bottom to top, maybe my brain forgot to flip it again. u and n are the same rotated 180.

It's not the hoster, it's more so captcha provider.

Now getting this with Datafile and Nitroflare.

Easy captchas with browser, tricky ones like I posted previously with JD.
Don't suppose there is any progress on this as suggested above?

Ok but I'm now getting a "plug in outdated" try restarting this link for all Datafile links.
Restarting JD made no difference. They still work in browser

Then please report this in a new thread in the hoster plugin forum - it has nothing to do with this topic!
