everytime i download ANYTHING from ANY host it crashes less than one minute into the download, wth?



I have no idea what's going on, could it be a virus or something?

i don't have any sort of anti-virus

Update: i've turned off the windows firewall and about 2 mins into the download with no crashing, will report back if it crashes, if it keeps downloading for 30 mins or so i'll post here so you can mark the thread solved.

edit: and yet another crash..
is there anything at all i can do to try and tell what's causing this, error logs, anything =| ?
