Cant Install JDownloader
hey i've been trying to reinstall JDownloader since last night. i had to uninstall because there was some kind of error when i clicked to open the program. so i re downloaded it and tried to install but when i get to the jre installation part it gives me an error
"Unable to install Java - Setup will be aborted Unable to find JRE with version above 1.6, even though the JRE setup was successful No JRE Found. I tried to uninstall the jre version i had which is jre 6u23... also had an error and i was unable to uninstall. error reads: Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. any help resovling this would be awesome!!! i really loved having jdownloader! peace... I would first un-install all JRE versions you already have on your computer. Then install JRE 1.6 update 21 (32 bits). See "**External links are only visible to Support Staff**.
Then download "Download (MULTIOS Zip)" from Linux section in the download page. Unzip the archive. Go to your jD folder (with cd command) and start jD with the command : Code:
java -verbose -Xmx512m -jar jdownloader.jar -debug -brdebug 1>jdlog.log 2>jderr.log EDIT: If you can't install your JRE, please contact Sun. Last edited by remi; 08.01.2011 at 11:54. |

Hi i have the multios folder in an external hd. Please how can i add it to my favorites on Ubuntu remix? Thanks
