Where do you get these data from?
Please, provide a list of your programs that are connected to the Internet. |

use psexplorer or any other tool that shows traffic per process, then you can see what process uses internet and what connections
jdownloader is a simple downloadmanager and only needs normal upload like any other download tool too

i'm experiencing hte same and naturally I checked which program was causing the traffic in my upload and it turned out to be the java.exe, so it is caused by the jdownloader...btw i was downloading via netload premium(my firewall showed that the tcp connection that is receiving is sending as well(aprox. 1mb upload for every 50mb download)).
i thought it was netload's way to save traffic...but i'm really curious now... |

Internet involves both upload and download, no matter it is a browsing or downloading.
In general term, upload is used to request, confirm etc. I think 1/50 is normal, mine is about 1/30. |

Hey
Was finding a thread to know how JDownload can control the upload speed.
Is there no facility in JDownloader to at least control the upload speed? This causes me to max out my daily upload/download capacity! :( I do hope the FULL upload can be controlled! |

jdownloader does not upload any data. it is complete normal that each download needs some upload. that are normal tcp/ip basics...you use more connections = more upload overhead. reduce connections if you want less overhead
