Recent rapidshare problems have added to the delays caused by the waiting time.
I have read the joeblog post where gluewurm advises mac/isp changing or buying premium and wondered why he didn't mention proxies.
While jd was struggling with the 'already downloading' error I checked up on proxies and found an app Opera Tor
that bypassed the problem.
So I immediately returned to jd config and found how primitive the proxy implementation is. Surely such a well written app could have a better proxy module that automates proxy leeching, checking, rotation etc.
This would provide an alternative to reconnect for static ip users like me.
Please consider implementing such a solution if possible.
