Browser extension - page keeps reloading
Today I find that when trying to solve a recaptcha 2 with the browser extension, the page keeps reloading itself every ten seconds or so, while I'm trying to click on traffic lights and bikes. I can't get through the process.
I also tried it with a new user profile with default settings and only the JDownloader extension installed, the same thing happens. Latest JDownloader 2, Firefox 73.0.1, MyJDownloader Browser Extension 3.2.39, macOS 10.14.6 |

Have you tried other browsers too e.g. Chrome?
Also, please post a log: Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

It happens when trying to crawl links from multiup.org. I also tried with Waterfox (fork of Firefox 56), same thing happens. I don't want to install Chrome, but I tried the Chrome extension with Vivaldi and it works ok there. Maybe just a Firefox thing then. I'm not sure exactly when it started happening, it could be a week or so since I last used it. Last edited by sumyungguy; 05.03.2020 at 18:35. |

You don't need to install Chrome.
You can also get a portable version of Chrome and force JD to use it using this Setting: Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Search for "browser commandline" -psp-

I'm on a Mac. I don't know what a "portable version" is but I don't allow Google on my computer. I already tested the Chrome extension with Vivaldi and that worked ok as I said, so I guess that should be good enough?

Did you get my logs? I'm still not able to use the Firefox extension. In the browser console I see:
TypeError: document.body is null rc2LoadingIndicator.js:2:5 Every time the page refreshes, every 12 seconds. If I look in the page source there's a: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="12"> I also see that using the Chrome extension in Vivaldi, but it doesn't refresh. |

As I said, links from multiup.org - for example:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** There's a Google Captcha 2 just to get the list of files into the linkgrabber. Just to be clear about what I said above, I see the 12-second meta refresh in the HTML of the extension's page on both Firefox and Vivaldi, but it only refreshes on Firefox. I only see the error message about a null document.body on Firefox. Last edited by sumyungguy; 17.03.2020 at 22:35. |
